I come from a very musical family. My Irish great-grandmother Martha Dooley was very musical and my grandmother Marguerite and her two sons Jacques & Charles (my father), and then my sister Diane and I received the gene also. We would all play and harmonize with each other like it was nothing! I play guitar and a little bit of keyboard, all by ear and I love to harmonize with other singers as it is one of my great passions. I have recorded and performed over the years and have written some songs. I enjoy writing songs with other people; I do the music, they do the lyrics.
I have written songs like this with people who have no musical ability but have a lot to express. It is one of the most satisfying collaborations and the experience lives on through the songs.
